Hackyard Build 2026 is a builder-focused hackathon where ideas become working products.

There is no fixed theme. You can build an AI agent, web or mobile application, developer tool, startup prototype, productivity tool, or solve a problem you've actually experienced.

You can participate with an idea, a problem, a skill, or an existing team.

The journey is simple:

IDEA → BUILD → TEST → SHOW

The goal is not to make the biggest presentation. Build the smallest version that works, test it, improve it, and show what you made.

Selected builders will come together for the physical build on 24–25 October 2026 at IIT Guwahati.

Hackyard Build 2026 is open-ended. You are free to choose the tools and technologies that best fit your project.

You may use:

• AI/ML models and APIs

• AI coding assistants

• Web technologies

• Mobile development frameworks

• Backend frameworks and APIs

• Databases

• Cloud platforms

• Open-source libraries

• No-code and low-code tools

• Developer tools

• Hardware and IoT technologies

Browser Use (YC W25)
Up to 300 eligible selected participants who sign up each receive $100 in Browser Use credits.

Hackyard LLM Credits
Each of 100 selected projects receives $100 in Hackyard LLM credits.

XYZ Domain Foundation
The top 50 projects receive one standard .xyz domain for one year each through the XYZ Domain Foundation.

Additional partner tools and rewards include Render credits and its Workflows prize track; FlutterFlow trials and Basic subscriptions; Maritime Starter access; MojoAuth Hack Pass licenses; Spline Professional Annual plans with AI credits; and ElevenLabs subscriptions. ElevenLabs usage credits: Creator 131,000 for one month per participant, Pro 600,000 per month for three months for each overall winning team member, and Scale 1.8 million per month for three months for each member of the Best Project Built with ElevenLabs team. Participants are responsible for complying with the terms and licenses of the tools and services they use.

Build tools that change how people work, learn, create, or collaborate.

Find a problem around you and build a solution.

You don't need a category or assigned problem. If you think something should exist, build it.
